Afgelopen week vond het jaarlijkse ICS congres plaats in Göteborg. De onderzoeksgroepen van het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum en het Universitair Ziekenhuis Antwerpen hebben een aantal interessante voordrachten gegeven over onderzoek met de MAPLe. Met deze onderzoeken geven zij meer inzicht in de werking van de individuele bekkenbodemspieren met als doel patiënten nog beter te kunnen diagnosticeren en gerichter te behandelen.
